PRESENCE--Deepening The Therapeutic Alliance for Health & Wellness Professionals

We have workshops tailored to the needs of a variety of therapeutic roles:

We offer one-day or full weekend formats. Both are structured to give participants a direct experience of being more present through meditative and perceptual exercises drawn from contemplative spiritual traditions and from psychotherapeutic approaches. These exercises are followed by interaction with partners designed to explore how to integrate this greater focus and mindfulness into the therapeutic role. Our intention is to provide a good balance between intellectual and experiential approaches to the material, as well as a chance to do some hands-on work.

We are an approved continuing education provider by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board, and have applied for CEU provider status with the NCBTMB and AMTA.

PRESENCE--Deepening Relationship with Self, Others and the Sacred

These less specialized workshops are similar to our workshops for healing arts professionals, but the scope ranges further into exploring presence in all relationships and in engaging a life of the spirit. We explore approaches to contemplation and meditation from a variety of spiritual traditions and look at how to incorporate these practices into enriching all relationships.

These workshops are offered in half-day, full day or weekend formats, and can be brought on-site to your organization. Our intention is to give participants tangible take-aways that can help reduce stress, help create more enriching relationships, and to reduce organizational conflict.
